Financial Planning Intern
I am currently a senior studying Financial Planning and Management at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. I have always had an interest in pursuing business and finance, particularly with women; helping them navigate the complexities of their investments and feel empowered to take ownership of their financial independence.
Working with Align as a Financial Planning Intern, I am excited for the wealth of opportunity this will provide, enabling me to deepen my skills and knowledge of the financial world, and acquire firsthand insight into an industry-leading, woman-owned independent financial planning firm.
The opportunity to shadow Tanya at work not only benefits my level of professionalism but is also deeply inspiring to see the opportunities that are available to me as a young woman entering the industry.
Originally from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, I grew up heavily involved in school organizations and the community. I ran on sports teams throughout middle and high school, and continued my athletic career at UMD, where I currently run on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams.
